Spillway owns the connection machinery while source systems remain authoritative for calls, schedules, appointments, jobs, and payments.

1. Connect for $1

Confirm the roofing company and accepted offer, then complete the $1 Stripe-hosted installation checkout. That payment starts installation and saves a payment method; it does not start the monthly subscription.

2. Spillway connects the systems

ServiceTitan, call-source, and business-messaging setup progress in parallel. External enablement and carrier review may take time, and the setup can be left and resumed without losing progress.

3. Calls become decisions

An eligible completed roofing call that ended without a booked inspection enters the existing Calls runtime. Spillway preserves source truth, develops the homeowner toward a legitimate inspection decision, and stops when that decision is reached.

4. Booking remains externally confirmed

Spillway uses verified ServiceTitan Capacity when available, otherwise a verified schedule projection, and always performs a just-in-time reality check. A local request is never represented as booked until ServiceTitan confirms the intended appointment.

5. Monthly billing waits for proof

Multiple calls, messages, inspections, or estimates do not start the monthly subscription. Only the existing proof foundation's qualifying signed-roofing-job proof may authorize the $299 monthly Stripe subscription.
